SOAP stands for Scripture, Observation, Application, Prayer.
The approach is simple: after reading the bible, pick out one scripture that stands out. Make observations about what makes it stand out to you. Write out some application points – how you can make it part of your life. Then, lastly, write out your prayer based on your reading.
“What Does This Teach?” – Journal Method
